International Journal of Orthoplastic Surgery (IJOPS) is a peer-reviewed, international journal, looking to publish the very highest quality content in the emerging cross-disciplinary and cutting-edge field of Orthoplastic Surgery.
Orthoplastic Surgery is defined as the principles and practices of both specialities applied to a clinical problem either by a single doctor or team of providers working in concert for the benefit of the patient. The field represents an active research front and includes; Orthopaedics, microsurgical reconstruction, oncology, allotransplantation, wound healing and reconstruction of upper and lower extremity injuries/defects.
The journal seeks to be inclusive and appeal to not just surgeons, but physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and all those involved in the multidisciplinary management of orthoplastic patients. We aim to publish basic science, clinical and translational articles. We commit to providing rapid submission to decision times whilst maintaining a high-quality peer-review process that’s constructive.
International Journal of Surgery Case Reports is an open access, general surgical journal dedicated to publishing case reports. Case reports must be authentic, understandable, educational and clinically interesting to an international audience of surgeons, trainees and researchers in all surgical subspecialties, as well as clinicians in related fields. All case reports submitted are peer reviewed and if accepted for publication, authors are notified of this decision and requested to pay an Article Processing Fee of £250 (US$392.50, Euro 280, JP Yen 36,680) per article (exclusive of UK VAT at 20% which will be charged by Elsevier Ltd). Following payment of this fee, the article is made universally available to all on www.sciencedirect.com and www.casereports.com.
