Journal of Computer Assisted Learning
The Journal of Computer Assisted Learning is an international peer-reviewed journal which covers the whole range of uses of information and communication technology to support learning and knowledge exchange. It aims to provide a medium for communication among researchers as well as a channel linking researchers, practitioners, and policy makers. JCAL is also a rich source of material for research students in areas such as collaborative learning, knowledge engineering, open, distance and networked learning, developmental psychology, and evaluation. Research themes are treated in a way which will maximise their influence on theory and practice in the learning sciences, in education, vocational training, and professional development. Each volume includes one, sometimes two, Special Issues and these provide readers with an in-depth perspective on a specific topic. First published in 1985, JCAL continues to have the aim of making the outcomes of contemporary research and experience accessible. During this period there have been major technological advances offering new opportunities and approaches in the use of a wide range of technologies to support learning and knowledge transfer more generally. There is currently much emphasis on the use of network functionality and the challenges its appropriate uses pose to teachers/tutors working with students locally and at a distance. The Journal of Consumer Psychology (JCP) publishes top-quality research articles that contribute both theoretically and empirically to our understanding of the psychology of consumer behavior. JCP is the official journal of the Society for Consumer Psychology, Division 23 of the American Psychological Association. JCP publishes articles in areas such as consumer judgment and decision processes, consumer needs, attitude formation and change, reactions to persuasive communications, consumption experiences, consumer information processing, consumer-brand relationships, affective, cognitive, and motivational determinants of consumer behavior, family and group decision processes, and cultural and individual differences in consumer behavior. Most published articles are likely to report new empirical findings, obtained either in the laboratory or in field experiments that contribute to existing theory in both consumer research and psychology. Journal of Cutaneous Pathology
Journal of Cutaneous Pathology publishes manuscripts relevant to diseases of the skin in a broad sense, with the aims of advancing scientific knowledge regarding dermatopathology and enhancing the communication between clinical practitioners and research scientists. Original scientific manuscripts on diagnostic and experimental cutaneous pathology are invited. Clinicopathologic studies will be given high priority. Manuscripts based on light and electron microscopy, histochemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, tissue culture, embryology, molecular biology, and genetics are welcome, provided they advance the science of cutaneous pathology. Journal of Dental Education
The Journal of Dental Education (JDE) is a distinguished monthly journal published by the American Dental Education Association. Since 1936, the JDE has provided coverage of the wide variety of scientific and educational research involved in dental and allied dental education. Agreement applies to subscription journals offering OnlineOpen and Wiley fully Gold Open Access journals, as well as 240 Hindawi fully open access journals.

There is a UK-wide limit on the total number of papers which can be published Open Access via this deal. Once this threshold is hit, the deal will pause, and immediate Open Access with Wiley will be unavailable for Manchester authors for a period of time. The Library will communicate any such changes to researchers when the limit is reached

Once your article is accepted, register or log-in to Wiley Author Services at www.wileyauthors.com

On your Author Dashboard in Author Services, click ‘Manage Article’ and select open access at no additional charge

Confirm the corresponding author(s) and responsible corresponding author – this person should be affiliated to UoM

Enter your funding information and confirm your UoM affiliation

Submit request for approval by clicking ‘Yes, make my article open access’

If you have a choice of Creative Commons license, the University encourages authors to select the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license. This may also be required by your funder.
How to access the agreement (open access journals)
During submission, identify UoM as your primary affiliation, and when asked how you will pay the OA charge, select ‘My institution has an agreement with Wiley’.
