To publish the results of original research in the broad range of scientific areas represented in the Academia Brasileira de Ciências.
The Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering (AJSE) is  a peer-reviewed journal owned by King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and published by Springer. AJSE publishes twelve issues of rigorous and original contributions in the Science disciplines of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, and Physics, and in the Engineering disciplines of Chemical, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum , and Systems Engineering. Manuscripts must be submitted in the English language and authors must ensure that the article has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere in any format, and that there are no ethical concerns with the contents or data collection. The authors warrant that the information submitted is not redundant and respects general guidelines of ethics in publishing. All papers are evaluated by at least two international referees, who are known scholars in their fields.Â
Effective with the 2011 volume, this journal will be published in an online-only format. Complexity is a bi-monthly, cross-disciplinary journal focusing on the rapidly expanding science of complex adaptive systems. The purpose of the journal is to advance the science of complexity. Articles may deal with such methodological themes as chaos, genetic algorithms, cellular automata, neural networks, and evolutionary game theory. Papers treating applications in any area of natural science or human endeavor are welcome, and especially encouraged are papers integrating conceptual themes and applications that cross traditional disciplinary boundaries. Complexity is not meant to serve as a forum for speculation and vague analogies between words like 'chaos,' 'self-organization,' and 'emergence' that are often used in completely different ways in science and in daily life.
Current Chinese Science publishes original research articles, letters, case reports, reviews/mini-reviews and guest edited thematic issues in various disciplines focused largely on science in China, while contributions from abroad are also welcome. Current Chinese Science is not limited to a specific field but instead covers all major fields of science, technology, and medicine.
Current Science, founded in 1932 is published by the Current Science Association in collaboration with the Indian Academy of Sciences. The journal is also intended as a medium for communication and discussion of important issues that concern science and scientific activity. All articles published in Current Science, especially editorials, opinions and commentaries, letters and book reviews, are deemed to reflect the individual views of the authors and not the official points of view, either of the Current Science Association or of the Indian Academy of Sciences.
Because you never know what data will be useful to someone else,
Foundations of Science focuses on methodological and philosophical topics of foundational significance concerning the structure and the growth of science. It serves as a forum for exchange of views and ideas among working scientists and theorists of science and it seeks to promote interdisciplinary cooperation.
Since the various scientific disciplines have become so specialized and inaccessible to workers in different areas of science, one of the goals of the journal is to present the foundational issues of science in a way that is free from unnecessary technicalities yet faithful to the scientific content. The aim of the journal is not simply to identify and highlight foundational issues and problems, but to suggest constructive solutions to the problems.
The editors of the journal admit that various sciences have approaches and methods that are peculiar to those individual sciences. However, they hold the view that important truths can be discovered about and by the sciences and that truths transcend cultural and political contexts. Although properly conducted historical and sociological inquiries can explain some aspects of the scientific enterprise, the editors believe that the central foundational questions of contemporary science can be posed and answered without recourse to sociological or historical methods.
