Entropy, an international and interdisciplinary journal of entropy and information studies, publishes reviews, regular research papers and short notes. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish as much as possible their theoretical and experimental details. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The University does not have an Open Access (OA) agreement with MDPI.
We have a prepayment account we use to pay Article Processing Charges (APC’s), which provides us with a 10% discount.
For us to pay an MDPI APC, authors need to request OA funding using our Open Access enquiry form.
As a fully OA publisher, MDPI journals are eligible for the use of our OA budgets. You can check your eligibility for these budgets in our Open Access funds available for University of Manchester researchers article.
