ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks
The ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks (TOSN) publishes high-quality papers reporting significant results in the research and applications of distributed, wireless or wireline sensor and actuator networks. ACS Applied Biomaterials
ACS Applied Bio Materials is an interdisciplinary journal publishing original research covering all aspects of biomaterials and biointerfaces including and beyond the traditional biosensing, biomedical and therapeutic applications.

Our Open Access agreement with ACS came to an end on April 30th 2025. Authors can continue to publish in ACS journals as normal, but the way in which Open Access is achieved may be different.
Subscription
Authors publishing in ACS subscription journals should not choose to publish Open Access. The Library cannot provide funding for Open Access in these journals. On acceptance, authors should deposit the author accepted manuscript (AAM) via theOpen Access Gateway. A member of the team will ensure that this version of the paper is made Open Access via the Research Explorer.
For the next few months, the Library will be monitoring publishing in ACS' subscription journals and reaching out to University of Manchester authors to guide them through the process of making their articles Open Access in this way.
Fully Open Access

ACS Applied Electronic Materials is an interdisciplinary journal publishing original research covering all aspects of electronic materials. The journal is devoted to reports of new and original experimental and theoretical research of an applied nature that integrate knowledge in the areas of materials science, engineering, optics, physics, and chemistry into important applications of electronic materials. Institutional Agreement
Our Open Access agreement with ACS came to an end on April 30th 2025. Authors can continue to publish in ACS journals as normal, but the way in which Open Access is achieved may be different.
Subscription
Authors publishing in ACS subscription journals should not choose to publish Open Access. The Library cannot provide funding for Open Access in these journals. On acceptance, authors should deposit the author accepted manuscript (AAM) via theOpen Access Gateway. A member of the team will ensure that this version of the paper is made Open Access via the Research Explorer.
For the next few months, the Library will be monitoring publishing in ACS' subscription journals and reaching out to University of Manchester authors to guide them through the process of making their articles Open Access in this way.
Fully Open Access
ACS publishes a number of fully Open Access journals - journals that only publish Open Access content. Authors can request funding to pay article processing charges (APCs) in these journals via ourOpen Access enquiry form.
