Journal of Oral Rehabilitation aims to be the most prestigious journal of dental research within all aspects of oral rehabilitation and applied oral physiology. It covers all diagnostic and clinical management aspects necessary to re-establish a subjective and objective harmonious oral function. Oral rehabilitation may become necessary as a result of developmental or acquired disturbances in the orofacial region, orofacial traumas, or a variety of dental and oral diseases (primarily dental caries and periodontal diseases) and orofacial pain conditions. As such, oral rehabilitation in the twenty-first century is a matter of skilful diagnosis and minimal, appropriate intervention, the nature of which is intimately linked to a profound knowledge of oral physiology, oral biology, and dental and oral pathology. The scientific content of the journal therefore strives to reflect the best of evidence-based clinical dentistry. Modern clinical management should be based on solid scientific evidence gathered about diagnostic procedures and the properties and efficacy of the chosen intervention (e.g. material science, biological, toxicological, pharmacological or psychological aspects). The content of the journal also reflects documentation of the possible side-effects of rehabilitation, and includes prognostic perspectives of the treatment modalities chosen.Basic sciences are developing rapidly in contemporary society, but it may take some time before important new knowledge finds its way into daily clinical practice. Good clinical science deals with the diagnosis and appropriate treatment of individual patients. We need well-educated dentists to identify the numerous unsolved questions relevant to oral rehabilitation, in order to stimulate clinical and basic sciences to provide scientifically documented answers. It is the intention of the journal to stimulate contributions, which may help to bridge the gap between relevant basic sciences and clinical dentistry. The focus for the journal is to present original research findings; to generate critical reviews and relevant case stories, and to stimulate commentaries and professional debates in Letters to the Editor. We will invite relevant commercial interests to engage in the journal in order to make it the international forum for debate between dental clinical dental clinical sciences and industry, which share a common goal: to improve the quality of oral rehabilitation.

This journal provides a forum for original papers and reviews dealing with nutrition in normal and abnormal functions of the alimentary tract and its associated organs, including the salivary glands, pancreas, gallbladder, and liver. Particular emphasis is on development and its relation to infant and childhood nutrition. Articles are also included on mechanistic issues involved in normal and abnormal physiology of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as on the use of special tools such as endoscopy, liver biopsy, ultrasound, and computed tomography in pediatric diagnosis. The official Journal of the European Peptide Society EPS The Journal of Peptide Science is a cooperative venture of John Wiley & Sons, Ltd and the European Peptide Society, undertaken for the advancement of international peptide science by the publication of original research results and reviews. The Journal of Peptide Science publishes three types of articles: Research Articles, Rapid Communications and Reviews. The scope of the Journal embraces the whole range of peptide chemistry and biology: the isolation, characterisation, synthesis properties (chemical, physical, conformational, pharmacological, endocrine and immunological) and applications of natural peptides; studies of their analogues, including peptidomimetics; peptide antibiotics and other peptide-derived complex natural products; peptide and peptide-related drug design and development; peptide materials and nanomaterials science; combinatorial peptide research; the chemical synthesis of proteins; and methodological advances in all these areas. The spectrum of interests is well illustrated by the published proceedings of the regular international Symposia of the European, American, Japanese, Australian, Chinese and Indian Peptide Societies. The Journal of Peptide Science publishes the bi-annual EPS Newsletter and sponsors the EPS Website http://www.eurpepsoc.com.
The Journal of Periodontal Research is an international research periodical the purpose of which is to publish original clinical and basic investigations and review articles concerned with every aspect of periodontology and related sciences. Brief communications (1-3 journal pages) are also accepted and a special effort is made to ensure their rapid publication. Reports of scientific meetings in periodontology and related fields are also published. One volume of six issues is published annually.
Journal of Personality publishes scientific investigations in the field of personality. It focuses particularly on personality and behavior dynamics, personality development, and individual differences in the cognitive, affective, and interpersonal domains. The journal reflects and stimulates interest in the growth of new theoretical and methodological approaches in personality psychology.
Journal of Petroleum Geology is a quarterly journal devoted to the geology of oil and natural gas. Editorial preference is given to original papers on oilfield regions of the world outside North America and on topics of general application in petroleum exploration and development operations, including geochemical and geophysical studies, basin modelling and reservoir evaluation.
The Journal of Phycology was founded in 1965 by the Phycological Society of America. The Journal is a leading international journal and publishes research from all over the world. All aspects of basic and applied research on algae are included to provide a common medium for the ecologist, physiologist, cell biologist, molecular biologist, morphologist, oceanographer, acquaculturist, systematist, geneticist, and biochemist. The Journal also welcomes research that emphasizes algal interactions with other organisms and the roles of algae as components of natural ecosystems. Papers are accepted on the basis of their original and meritorious data and ideas; our focus is on research articles but mini-reviews and reviews are solicited on especially important and timely subjects. Comments, which are reviewed, may describe methods or equipment, discuss papers previously published in the Journal, or discuss other topics of interest to our readership. Other features include Algae Highlights, which draws attention to some of the important papers being published in each issue of the Journal or elsewhere, and Book Reviews. The Luigi Provasoli Award, named in honor of the founding Editor of the Journal, is presented annually by the Editorial Board to the authors who in the Board's judgment have published the best research paper in the previous year in the Journal.
