The journal Wood Material Science and Engineering aims to serve at the forefront of the wood science and technology field and accepts original articles relevant to:Wood material science with emphasis on: water-wood relations, wood durability, wood modification, wood mechanics, wood composites, engineered wood products, and eco-efficient wood based productsWood engineering, i.e. the application of the wood material science to the design, manufacturing, building, and use of machines, constructions etc. In this aspect the link between the nature of the wood material and the properties of the final wood products in-service is of outmost importance. Review papers may also be accepted but the topic should be discussed with the editor before submission.
The World Federation of Occupational Therapists ( WFOT) Bulletin is the official publication of the WFOT. Its aim is to promote the awareness and understanding of the WFOT and its activities and services, the development of the occupational therapy profession worldwide, and the international exchange of professional knowledge and experience.
The WFOT Bulletin is currently published biannually, and articles are accepted in any of the four official languages of the WFOT: English, French, Spanish and German.
World's Poultry Science Journal provides authoritative reviews in poultry science and an international forum for the exchange and dissemination of information including research, education and industry structure. Each issue includes poultry industry related news, regional reports on global developments in poultry, reports from specialist scientific working groups, book reviews, association news and a calendar of forthcoming events. Coverage includes breeding, nutrition, welfare, husbandry, production systems, processing, product development, physiology, egg and meat quality, industry structure, economics and education. The journal is of interest to academics, researchers, students, extension workers and commercial poultry producers.ISSN: 0043-9339 EISSN: 1743-4777.
Aims & Scope:
Worm publishes original research involving nematode model organisms, in particular C. elegans. Worm provides a forum for the research community to promote research, ideas, and technical advances of interest. Since findings in invertebrate model organisms like C. elegans often also have important implications for vertebrates, articles published in Worm are important to the wider research community including those working to understand the molecular basis of human diseases.
Worm publishes brief reports and longer research articles, technical and methodological advances, commentaries and review articles covering all areas of research from development to evolution, from genetics to systems biology, from metabolism to neurobiology and from molecular biology to genomics. Because Worm is not topic-oriented, it is well suited for multi-disciplinary studies or studies transcending traditional areas of research. Worm also encourages submission of short reports and articles whose initial audience might be primarily the worm community itself. In addition, it is possible to directly submit manuscripts rejected elsewhere with reviewer's comments included for quick assessment and potentially rapid acceptance.
Submitted manuscripts are initially assessed by the editors and if found suitable for further consideration, will be subject to peer-review by independent experts.
Questions regarding the scope of the journal and informal inquiries about the suitability of manuscripts may be directed to the Editor-in-Chief at hutter@sfu.ca.
Authors may submit to the journal online at http://worm.msubmit.net/cgi-bin/main.plex
Xenobiotica covers six main areas, including: General Xenobiochemistry, including in vitro studies concerned with the metabolism, disposition and excretion of drugs, and other xenobiotics, as well as the structure, function and regulation of associated enzymes Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Metabolism, covering the pharmacokinetics and absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs and other xenobiotics in man Animal Pharmacokinetics and Metabolism, covering the pharmacokinetics, and absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs and other xenobiotics in animals Pharmacogenetics, defined as the identification and functional characterisation of polymorphic genes that encode xenobiotic metabolising enzymes and transporters that may result in altered enzymatic, cellular and clinical responses to xenobiotics Molecular Toxicology, concerning the mechanisms of toxicity and the study of toxicology of xenobiotics at the molecular level Topics in Xenobiochemistry, in the form of reviews and commentaries are primarily intended to be a critical analysis of the issue, wherein the author offers opinions on the relevance of data or of a particular experimental approach or methodology. A close liaison between Xenobiotica and the International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics has been established, giving rise to special issues of the journal. The Middle East at its location at the intersection of three zoogeographic regions endows a vast landscape with a striking diversity of habitats and fauna and flora with many endemic species. Zoology in the Middle East is the only scientific journal covering the whole range of zoology in this unique region of the world and helps further the understanding of the Middle East as a zoogeographical unit. The journal aims at improving the interchange of knowledge and ideas between specialists on different subjects and taxa.
